42. Why do good deeds sometimes backfire?
We are clearly doing good deeds, benefiting all beings, and accumulating blessings—doing what Heaven wants us to do—so why do we still suffer backlash from others? In this world, when you benefit or guide sentient beings, you will inevitably be affected. Few are unaffected; most are. Our world belongs to the human realm, a world under Mara, the Demon King. Even the Desire Realm is Mara's territory. When you do good deeds and benefit sentient beings, it's like taking people from someone else's territory; it's normal for them to beat or bully you. Ordinary people shouldn't easily get involved in other people's karma—occasionally offering advice, encouraging someone to improve, or occasionally helping someone is not a big problem.
43. those without affinity will not be saved.
When guiding someone to enlightenment, it must be someone with whom you have a karmic connection—someone who believes in you, is willing to seek you out, and proactively says, "I'm willing to ask you to do this." Only then can you help them; otherwise, it's considered meddling. In the Dharma realm, directly interfering is against the rules. If I could resolve someone's karma without needing to establish a karmic connection, I could just sit outside a hospital every day. There are countless people in any top-tier hospital across the country who need treatment; I wouldn't need to talk to them, I could just let the spirits solve their problems.
44. higher planes cannot interfere with lower planes.
Since it's said that higher planes cannot interfere in lower planes, then if one goes to a temple to ask Buddha or Bodhisattva for help, and a deity accepts the task, isn't that interfering in the affairs of a lower plane? Yes, the ones accepting the tasks are Earthly Immortals, who are on the same plane as us, except we are in the mortal realm and they are in the Dharma realm. Therefore, it's not considered meddling when people on the same plane resolve their own affairs. Higher planes cannot manage or directly interfere in the affairs of lower planes unless permitted by the laws of heaven and earth. This was allowed in ancient times and prehistoric times, including the practice of directly sending gods or immortals from higher planes to lower planes to perform tasks without any problems, but it's not allowed now.
45. Large Size
First, the higher dimension can ensure the safety of the original body. This is because the higher dimension can automatically eliminate all unfavorable elements in the cycle of reincarnation—those you haven't cultivated properly, you can remove them, peeling them away from the body. Second, the higher dimension's social circle consists of very powerful people, such as many Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, making your resource allocation and learning abilities completely different. Third, the higher dimension sees the world and has a different understanding. All your current problems—wrong choices regarding the unknown and the future—are because you are a three-dimensional being. Once you reach the four-dimensional world, you can see the future, you absolutely cannot make mistakes, and you can make choices about the future. For ordinary humans, adding one dimension almost makes them invincible in three dimensions—meaning your knowledge, cognition, and understanding of everything in the current plane are on a completely different level. Therefore, continuously pushing the higher dimension upwards will result in infinitely high energy and blessings.
46. Small Trumpet
There are three types of alternate accounts: Pure Account (a relatively pure alternate account, such as a minor Bodhisattva or an avatar of an emperor, used to provide a clean alternate account for experiencing the human world and lower planes), Dirty Account (created by severing avatars, cutting off uncontrollable desires or bad things; its energy level is still quite powerful, though far inferior to the original body), and Mission Account (used to assist the human world or a certain plane in carrying out a mission). Alternate accounts take the following forms: Independent Avatar (possessing independent personality, character, consciousness, and supernatural powers; they do not generate consciousness fluctuations between each other and cannot transmit information), Integrated Avatar (the alternate account and the main account are one person; they can switch between each other quickly enough, sharing both loss and glory), and Semi-Integrated Avatar (switching back and forth, possessing semi-independent consciousness; the alternate account's thoughts and feelings are all transmitted to the main account, but the main account's insights are not transmitted to the alternate account; it is unidirectional).
47. Causal Collision
Higher planes cannot solve the problem of cause and effect. The only way to solve cause and effect is to use cause and effect to collide. This will go through four stages: experiencing cause and effect (you can't feel it if you don't even touch it), understanding cause and effect (you need to look at cause and effect above cause and effect and have the ability to see the essence of cause and effect), reflecting on cause and effect (after knowing and understanding cause and effect more, you need to start to summarize the cause and effect line), and resolving cause and effect (you must get up where you fell).
48. "Interesting Facts" from Higher Dimensions
In many parts of the celestial realm, not a single living person can be seen for hundreds of years; it's incredibly boring. The celestial realm has excellent spiritual energy, making it a very leisurely and suitable place for cultivation—plenty of time, cultivation methods, and resources, and no one to disturb you. Often, a group of idle people like to observe the mortal world, sneaking off to the mortal realm, only to find themselves unable to return, and frequently punished for it. The Buddhist realm is actually the most notorious for this, because its rules are even stricter. The Immortal Realm, the Dao Realm, and the Divine Realm are slightly better, but still boring, requiring you to repeat the same things every day, which will basically drive you to the brink of collapse. In the higher realms, everyone has the right to date, reproduce, and have sexual desires, but a quota system is in place—you can only date if you're allowed to, otherwise you can't; it's called organizational allocation. Many are punished for secretly dating or having children. In the higher realms, you must have been permitted and registered beforehand; allowing dating and having children is no problem. Not everyone can have children, otherwise there would be too many minor deities.
