82. Children: Harmful Karmic Bonds
Children born into troubled relationships can be categorized into several levels: The first is those who cause trouble in the womb during pregnancy. This is relatively better; at worst, the baby won't be born, and you'll lose a child. The second is the newborn. This is especially common when you're older and have finally conceived. You're caught in a dilemma – raising them is problematic, not raising them is also problematic, and they might even cause you a serious illness. For example, a heart problem requiring 50,000 yuan a day for treatment. In the end, the child spends all your money and then leaves – you can't afford to mess with them, so this is considered a good outcome. The third is those who cause trouble during adolescence. Although teenagers are difficult to educate, you still have some opportunity to teach them. The fourth, and most ruthless and devastating, is those who cause trouble after you turn 30. If you dare to cause them trouble, they might kill you. They'll beat you, insult you, spend all your money to torment you, and ultimately leave you destitute and without support in your old age, suffering greatly.
