125. the aura of the rising sun
Walk briskly towards the sun every day, even if you don't run, while chanting "Namo Amitabha Buddha" extensively. This is the fastest way for ordinary people to increase their Yang energy, without needing any ritual implements or assistance. If you can persist, your Yang energy will be completely different from before in about three months. Once your Yang energy is high, you will no longer be able to resonate with it, and you won't be able to receive anything it tries to transmit to you. Go out and walk briskly towards the sun, whether it's sunny or not, as long as it's between 5 and 7 am or 6 and 8 am, it's fine—this is called the morning sun energy. This period is also particularly effective for sunbathing spirits; avoid sunbathing them at midday. By chanting "Namo Amitabha Buddha" extensively, you directly draw the Buddha's energy and the morning sun energy into your body, increasing your Yang energy very quickly. Walking indoors is also fine, try to be exposed to as much sunlight as possible. This is to keep people, ghosts, or negative things away from you.
126. What is life?
Life consists of three parts. Any life, regardless of whether it is born from moisture, from a womb, from transformation, or from an egg, or whether it has a mother and father, or not—as long as it exists within the cycle of reincarnation, it must possess three things: thought, energy, and a shell. Possessing these three is enough to constitute life. Having only thought or only energy is also acceptable. More complex life forms are composed of thought, energy, and a shell. For example, in humans, thought and energy together form the soul, which enters the shell (physical body). The ability to control this physical body makes one human. Even a small insect has a soul—a combination of thought and energy, albeit a very small fragment, which, when combined with a physical body, becomes a life. A ghost is a soul, also a combination of energy and thought.
127. Origin
The Origin is your attribute at the time of your first birth within the entire cycle of reincarnation. The attributes of beings born in different eras vary. The first generation of beings has a remarkably perfect attribute—a complete being with great ability and energy; many attain Buddhahood or Daoist status. They are born without parents, possessing innate intelligence, and with high energy and perfect intelligence, they easily progress in their cultivation. The second generation of beings has a mother but no father—born spiritual beings, with heaven and earth as their father, directly nurturing their aura within a mother's body, allowing her to conceive and give birth. The third generation of beings has both a mother and a father. The Origin becomes less perfect as we progress, so those born in the most ancient times are particularly powerful, but flaws have already begun to appear.
128. The Heavenly Witch Clan
The Celestial Witch Clan possesses innate supernatural abilities, including the natural talent for divination, but they struggle to communicate with human society. I've seen some exceptionally skilled individuals who can communicate with the heavens and earth, and they absolutely cannot integrate into human society—in fact, they are extremely incompatible. Without their families, they wouldn't even know how to order takeout and would starve to death; they are completely out of place with humans. You can teach them the laws of heaven and earth or help them understand certain things, but if you ask them to learn human knowledge, they will never learn it, no matter how hard they try. When you all are doing quite well in the human world, it's highly unlikely that you will become a top-tier Celestial Witch—top-tier Celestial Witches are definitely unable to integrate into society.
129. Tracing the Origin
Investigating one's origin is something only top-level religious leaders do; it's not allowed without special permission. Currently, only about 20 people have had their origins investigated, and it's impossible to do so without reaching a certain level of cultivation. It's very laborious; if someone has been reincarnated many times, the investigation could trace back thousands of lifetimes. Like me, I thought investigating one's origin would be simple, but when I traced back, I thought it would end at two hundred lifetimes—only I have two hundred lifetimes. Investigating one's origin requires checking the first incarnation of one's main body, which is very confusing and laborious.
130. What is Dharma Realm Life?
"Dharma realm life" broadly refers to life visible through the Dharma eye. The vast majority are thinking beings or thinking animals—existing within a single thought, the strength of which varies. If one can cultivate to the Formless Realm, one is essentially a Dharma realm life, free from the constraints of physical form, existing solely as a thought, a single thought. The breadth of this thought is as vast as one's own. The Tathagata can achieve "nothing comes from nowhere, nothing goes"—he has already cultivated to this level of Dharma realm being; his thoughts are all around you. Reaching the level of the Formless Realm essentially allows one to be omnipresent—this is the most important aspect of Dharma realm life.
131. What is the effect of a clone?
In our spiritual practice, we strive to cultivate all our avatars and parallel world selves to be extremely positive, so that they become increasingly powerful through mutual influence. When an avatar wants to enter a very dirty place, if its other avatars are all in very good and positive places, then it's difficult for that person to be corrupted in the dirty place—this is the mutual influence between avatars. If you're not careful, and 60% of your avatars are bad, the pressure to cultivate well will be immense—something will go wrong. It's easier to cultivate if you have as many good avatars as possible, each accompanied by one bad avatar. Avoid having one good avatar accompanied by a bunch of bad avatars—it's not impossible, but the success rate is much lower.
