152. Shadow Soul

A shadow soul is a soul that appears on your body in many lifetimes—past lives as a snake, fox spirit, demon, or human, certainly not a particularly good one. Many people have several shadow souls, all from their past lives when they committed evil deeds. During the cycle of reincarnation, sometimes bad deeds are committed, and one may be reincarnated in the lower realms, so there are good and bad lifetimes. A shadow soul cannot be considered your soul—it is your soul, but it is not your soul either. Normally, you have no connection to this world anymore; your main soul has been reincarnated. However, during past reincarnations, you were, after all, a being of this realm, leaving behind your traces, aura, something like a soul. If we consider it as a subject, under certain circumstances, it can also produce a shadow—this thing is called a shadow soul, and it is intangible. For a human, the soul is intangible; for the soul, the shadow soul is intangible.

153. The Law of Pollution

The law of contamination is what contaminates you—spiritual contamination, consciousness contamination, cognitive contamination. The law of contamination is the most damned law in the entire cycle of reincarnation, the most intangible, and the most difficult to resolve. As long as you dare to think, you are contaminated. Do you know why many practitioners in the Bodhisattva realm are not even allowed to have a single thought? —At that level, you can cultivate the ability to cultivate thoughts. It's not that if I don't do something, it's over. Will thinking about it without doing it have karmic consequences? No. But will you be contaminated? You will be contaminated. As long as you dare to think about it, you are contaminated. What you obtain is all flawed merit, merit with attributes. Why must we cultivate selflessness, no person, no sentient being, no life span? It's to obtain merit without attributes—we must cultivate ourselves to the point where doing good deeds is as natural as eating.

154. The Spirit of Freeloading

Clearly experiencing many things, yet unable to take them seriously—this is the supreme wisdom of Buddhism, quite anti-human. This thing clearly exists, but you insist on treating it as if it doesn't. There's no way around it; this existence is an illusion created by reincarnation. Once created, you like it, constantly generating a lot of positive feedback, and you feel it's real. I've benefited sentient beings, so I've benefited them; I don't think about these things. Should I give merit for benefiting sentient beings? Of course I should. Why do you think about it? Don't think about it at all; what's due will be given, and thinking about it will reduce it—that's called getting something for free. To combat the law of pollution, you must use the spirit of getting something for free. Infinitely getting something for free, the heavenly way and reincarnation can't do anything to you—you enjoy it without being punished. As long as you don't get something for free, if you dare to even think about it, you're finished; you'll suffer some loss.

155. Golden Light (Buddha's Light)

The stronger your Buddha-nature, the higher the golden light. Does having strong Buddha-nature require chanting scriptures? I personally dislike chanting scriptures, but the golden light around me is very concentrated, bright, and vast—when I possess Buddha-nature, approach transparent Buddha-nature, greatly benefit sentient beings, and extensively liberate sentient beings, the golden light around me is extremely bright. Many people's light area is insufficient. I encountered two situations before: one was following external practitioners, chanting all kinds of scriptures, and after seven years of practice, upon examination, the Buddha-light and golden light were like smoke but very scattered—this indicates faith in Buddhism but not firmness; avoid trouble, otherwise it may dissipate like smoke. The requirements for golden light are brightness, concentration, and the larger the area, the better. To cultivate to this level, I haven't seen anyone chant scriptures to this extent. It's impossible for ordinary chanters to make the golden light very concentrated through chanting.

156. White Light (Light of Freedom)

The white light is called the light of freedom. The more you learn to solve problems with rules, the more accustomed you are to using the natural way to solve problems, and the more you can achieve "non-action yet nothing is left undone," the stronger the white light will be. Those with low or no white light are basically twisting or forcibly suppressing others—that's called using management. Those who solve things by management almost never get white light. Truly solving problems with rules is very powerful—there was no white light when building the Gezhouba Dam, but it was very powerful when building the Dujiangyan Irrigation System. They used rules to solve floods, and the problem was solved with little effort.

157. Purple Light (Light of Inspiration)

Purple light is the light of inspiration. Fortune telling, divination, and meditation all increase purple light. The strength of one's spiritual energy depends on purple light; those with abundant purple light easily sense or see things. It's rare to have abundant purple light and still not see anything. Don't you all want to see things? The amount of purple light is necessary; some people are born without it. When your wife is angry with you, arguing with her is a low-dimensional confrontation—the more you confront, the more resentful you become. When my wife and I resolve problems, it's a high-dimensional confrontation—synchronized cognition. If we think alike, is there any need for confrontation? If our lifestyles gradually become similar, is there any need for confrontation? Behind confrontation lies the need for cognition. With shared cognition and the same consciousness, what is there to confront?

158. Blue Light (Light of Merit)

The blue light is called the light of merit. The light of merit grows exponentially, initially with great difficulty. For two or three hundred people, it might be just a tiny point, flashing by like a shooting star; for five or six hundred people, it's a blue pillar the size of a fingernail; for two thousand, it grows exponentially into a vast expanse; for tens of thousands, it can at least cover the upper body. Many people spend a lot of time checking if they have the light of merit. No. Without the light of merit, how can one change their fate? It means Heaven doesn't approve. The light of merit, all such light, is given by the Heavenly Way—the Heavenly Way assesses you every six months or year, and if it feels you've done something, it bestows this light upon you. It's not something that appears the day after you do it; some people don't see it for six months, but there's always an assessment every year. If you do something and don't have the light of merit after a year, you should think about it—did you do something wrong? Did you waste it elsewhere? There have been students who did this, helping two or three hundred people in a year, only to find no light of merit—where did it go?

159. Blue Light (Mood Light)

The aura of one's mind is also blue; the larger it is, the more stable one's mind is. There are two types of aura of mind: one is when you encounter something, like a storm raging outside, the entire lake surface is very blue and very calm, without even a ripple—this is a qualified aura of mind. Some people can cultivate aura of mind through mental training; their mind is calm when no one is provoking them, but becomes restless when someone is provoking them—this kind of aura of mind is not good; it hasn't been tested by experience. Everyone must pay attention to cultivating an aura of mind that can withstand trials; otherwise, cultivating it only means you can usually remain calm. Of course, it's a bit far-fetched if some people can't even remain calm normally.

160. Red light (popularity light)

People often ask why some people are popular while others are not. This is called "popularity aura," which is a red aura. It represents how much good karma you can attract from all beings. The higher the red aura, the more good karma you can attract from all beings. Internet celebrities are definitely popular.

161. Orange Light (Light of Love)

The orange light is called the light of love and respect—you have helped many people, and they are not only grateful, but also develop love and respect for you as a teacher. This is not given by the heavens, but by all living beings. The more love and respect all living beings have for you, the stronger the light becomes.

162. Yellow Light (Gentleness of Mind and Warmth of Nature in Character Development)

When others speak to you, do you feel like you're bathed in a spring breeze? Is it very gentle? You express what you want to say in a gentle, soothing way, and others easily and naturally accept it. Now, many people ask me to connect online, and they think I speak quite well—although I can't do it every time, after all, I'm only human, but at least under normal circumstances, when my mind isn't wandering, I can maintain a gentle and naturally warm demeanor.

163. Green Light (The Life Force of Harmonious Coexistence with Nature)

Green light represents natural harmony. My students say they often seem to notice changes in the yard, which blade of grass has grown taller, which leaf has changed—this is called the life force of living in harmony with nature. The more you love nature, the more you resonate with the flowers, grass, life, rivers, soil, and stones, the more you love nature and not only love it yourself but also create that resonance—its power can influence your own. Generally, many elves or nature-based beings are very skilled in this regard.

164. Blue Light (A gentle thought of peaceful coexistence and non-contention, where people quietly lean on each other)

Cyan light and green light are similar, but the colors are slightly different. It is a gentle thought of quiet, peaceful coexistence, and non-contention—a family lying on the lawn watching the stars, snuggling together; two kittens snuggling together. If you can make many beings (not that men and women walk together and snuggle) willing to come to your side, willing, although they don't necessarily have to snuggle together, but they enjoy being together and depending on each other, without anyone being superior or inferior—that is the kind of light.

165. Colorless light

The true cultivation of the Heavenly Way requires very high standards for these lights, which are all things that coexist peacefully. After these lights are cultivated to perfection, they will produce a seven-colored, exquisite light. After all the seven-colored, exquisite lights are cultivated to perfection, one will eventually enter the colorless realm. As you gradually enter the colorless realm, you are close to the realm of Buddhahood. Buddhahood is about cultivating all these things to perfection—in any realm, encountering any situation, one must cultivate each thing, the light is very strong, and finally all the lights slowly merge, merging together to become colorless.

166. What are real souls and virtual souls?

You can think of a soul as a person. For ordinary people, the physical body is the physical entity, and the soul is the intangible entity. The soul is also divided into these two parts—the physical part of the soul is called the real soul, and the intangible part is called the illusory soul. Whether the soul itself gets sick or not, just like whether the physical body gets sick or not, is the real soul part; whether the soul is affected by other things is the illusory soul part. The illusory soul connects to the outside world through all the chakras, which is what the illusory soul deals with. If the soul has a problem, you need to see whether it is the real soul or the illusory soul that has the problem. If the illusory soul has a problem, you use purification; if the real soul has a problem, you use spiritual cleansing. Since a person is divided into yin and yang, the yang side is called the physical body, and the yin side is called the soul. The soul is also actually divided into yin and yang—the physical part is called yang, and the intangible part is called yin. But both will affect your soul; if the soul has a problem, your thinking will have a problem. Cultivation is about solving thinking problems. Once thinking problems are solved, you positively increase your energy, and you can become infinitely powerful.

167. What is frequency?

Frequency involves several aspects: The first is the number of fluctuations. When you make money, a high frequency means you can close five deals a week, while a low frequency means you can only close one – it has nothing to do with energy, you can still close them. The higher the frequency, the higher the closing rate. Some people have a lower frequency and may only understand one thing in their lifetime. Of course, understanding one thing in a lifetime is good, better than understanding nothing at all. The second frequency is your ability to connect with different dimensions. Different dimensions have different frequencies; every god, Buddha, and being connected to you above has their own frequency. If your frequency is high and you keep ascending, you can connect with them. This will change the inspiration, wisdom, and feelings you gain.

168. What is anti-interference?

As your own inner strength increases, your ability to resist interference also increases. Many thoughts don't necessarily originate from us—they come from the human soul, the celestial soul, the terrestrial soul, parallel universes, past grievances, and memories of reincarnation, all of which can cause interference. Even negative thoughts from others can also cause interference. It is extremely important that you can maintain mindfulness amidst all these mental distractions, not be influenced by them, not be exploited by them, and not allow them to do anything that could harm you or others.
