A31 · Spiritual Practice Projects

301. When conducting a purification project, it is best to watch the video and listen to the audio.

For purification projects, you need to watch the video and listen to the audio. Without watching or listening, the connection won't work. The five senses—sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch, and thought—are human senses—they can deceive us with falsehoods, but true things also need to reach the soul through these senses. Prayer is better; purification without watching or listening is much less effective. You must use your five senses to connect with your soul—these are both things that deceive you and things that help you.

302. Why do I need a full purification system?

Unlike you, I don't manage too many people. In countless lifetimes, I've never run a business, never managed so many people—I've done everything: a complete system for business, finances, relationships, thought, networks, and even my body. When I wake up in the morning, my head is foggy, like a pot lid is on it—I can't think straight. Students ask, "Teacher, hurry up, we've been asking this question for days!"—I can't do it. I should be thinking, but I can't think straight; the gears are stuck. It's incredibly energy-consuming and requires a lot of replenishment, so I do it frequently.

303. My experience with a complete purification treatment.

I watched each video three times, and then watched it again every day for a week—not wasting a single ounce of energy until I was completely drained. After finishing, my mind was clear, and I could think of things instantly—it felt like a cool, refreshing spring was flowing through my head, clear and refreshing, like a bubbling spring of clear water being poured into the middle of my head. I even thought about participating in the International Mathematical Olympiad. A wise person said that Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are basically in this state—crushing ordinary humans. The state of clarity was different; I only experienced it that one night, and afterwards, the feeling of that refreshing spring didn't return—the energy had run out.

304. Why it's not recommended to do everything

It's not recommended to do the whole thing—it costs too much money. Do it only when needed. It must be a positive cycle between spiritual practice and income—I strongly oppose using a large amount of family money for spiritual practice. Only do it when needed (to solve children's problems, health problems). Otherwise, it will lead to family discord, marital problems, and children using their parents' money for personal gain. Benefit all beings, earn money, and generate merit, blessings, and popularity—use your earned money for spiritual practice. Using family money directly for spiritual practice is not recommended. Heaven is providing more and more resources, but not everything needs to be done—do what is needed. There are too many needs to be met—proceed gradually and step by step.

305. Do not mislead clients; improve the overall quality of medical practice.

I strongly oppose students recommending numerous projects—only proceed if someone has a need and your project can solve their problem. Nobody's a landlord—it makes us seem like a sales organization. We're a complete service, like running a hospital—how much would a full package of orthopedics, gynecology, and ophthalmology cost? And will the problem be solved immediately afterward? I hope students improve their medical skills—if someone has had stomach problems for 20 years, can you just go up to them and say a prayer will cure them? They've become their own doctors through long-term illness; don't exaggerate. It's possible, but almost a 10% chance—it might instantly solve a causal illness, but prayer won't work for a real illness. Prayer can immediately solve problems of thought, cause and effect, and energy—it can't solve real illnesses. People with beauty, athlete's foot, buttock pain, or late-stage cancer all come to pray for a cure—if they had that kind of ability, wouldn't they be worthy of a Nobel Prize?

306. What is the state of not having reached the Still Water Realm?

Some things originate from deep within and are difficult to perceive—being looked down upon by relatives as a child, thinking it's resolved, but upon deeper reflection, it seems there's still a lingering resentment. The issue of international identity remains unresolved; even after resolving it, the heart finds peace—but one is unaware of the deep-seated unease within. One hasn't cultivated to the state of stillness. You yourself might not realize it—your past greed was simply thinking about how much money you could earn this month, how to pay the mortgage, car loan, and support your family. Why is even looking at financial statements considered greed? The Way of Heaven sees it this way—a blue light shining through red light represents greed. Arrogance is also a kind of light—seeing this light indicates trouble; it doesn't matter if you don't know what's going on, just wait, it will definitely manifest later.

307. Customer and student evaluation criteria for teachers

After two to three months of practice, there should be at least some improvement—if you're just learning from us, there's a problem. If you paid but didn't see improvement—it's a matter of fate or there was a problem with the teacher/assistant's teaching. I will personally talk to the teacher who gave you feedback to increase interaction. Evaluation criteria: 1. Has your cognition improved? 2. Has your career and financial luck changed? 3. Have your family relationships (husband and wife, mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, with children, with parents) improved? 4. Has your inspiration improved? 5. Can you use storytelling methods to change your own or others' lives? 6. Have your conduct, career and financial luck, love and marriage, children's education, spiritual cultivation, cognitive improvement, worldview development, and physical health improved?

308. Precautions for performing blessings and purification rituals in karmic relationships.

After a client completed the blessing and purification ritual, her husband became enraged and beat her—this was completely unexpected. The working principle is to peel away the negative karmic worms from the soul—there will be reactions during the peeling process. When chanting scriptures and using Buddhist teachings to cleanse oneself, lustful thoughts, slander against the Buddha, or negative emotions may also arise—the karmic worms are clinging to our souls, and when cleansed by Buddhist light and scriptures, they can't bear it and want to come out; you will have thoughts and remember these things. During the blessing and purification ritual, some people become enraged, relive painful memories, and cry—people with depression cry, scream, laugh, and shout. This couple has a karmic entanglement—the wife hurt the husband in a past life, and the husband somewhat hurts the wife in this life. During the cleansing, past anger, hatred, and bad memories are restored—he can't feel the past life, but his emotions fluctuate, and he might actually take action. When cleansing karmic entanglements, it's best for the two of them to stay away—go on a business trip, go back to the wife's parents' home, and then do the cleansing.

309. Understanding the Meaning of Vows

The kitten looked at the water while I was mopping the floor—it's always been afraid of water and hasn't taken a bath, but it's interested in running water. It drank from the toilet and I scolded it several times. That evening, it played with the water in its bowl for the first time, putting its little hand in—it's not so afraid of water anymore. I filled a large basin halfway with water and put toys in it, secretly observing it while I mopped the floor—I'd mentioned before that it was afraid of me scolding it. Seeing that I wouldn't scold it, it slowly immersed itself in the basin, crawling in the water and secretly watching me. This reminded me of the beauty of discovery and the beauty of all beings in my vow. My daughter couldn't control the time she agreed to spend playing games—the teacher analyzed the problem and offered suggestions. Knowing is one thing, doing is another—it requires patience, wisdom, and skill. Educating a child is like educating a cat—cats can't speak, so I won't speak softly to them; if I treat them badly, they'll bite. Heaven gave cats sharp teeth—so that people understand that even the smallest life will retaliate if it doesn't learn respect. My child can understand but hasn't learned to retaliate yet; at least she won't hit me. She has her own thoughts. Before, when my daughter couldn't speak, I treated her the way I treat cats—I learned to control her from the moment she developed self-awareness. A teacher-student relationship in a past life, mother-daughter in this life—the methods were wrong. For the first time, I experienced the beauty of discovery—a cat made me understand that every life has its own process of exploration and its own laws of growth. The equality of all beings is compassion, joy, choice, and karma. The Tao Te Ching says, "Heaven and earth are ruthless, treating all things like straw dogs"—heaven and earth do not interfere with your needs; the rules cycle endlessly. The cat showed me how I should act—what changes is the external identity, what remains constant is the consequences of my actions. This is the beauty of all beings. Before, I didn't understand why high-level Buddhas only nodded and didn't speak—now I understand that knowledge has always been around us; without self-realization, we cannot understand. The increase of wisdom is a process of understanding—the beauty of discovery, the beauty of transformation, the beauty of enlightenment, the beauty of all beings, and the beauty of reincarnation. It took me over a year to discover the meaning of my vows.

310. What is Spirit Cleansing?

Lao Tzu described the Tao Te Ching as follows: "I do not know what the Tao is, I only know that it existed before heaven and earth, it is a rule." The Cleansing Spirit does not exist in the world; this is the first time it has been brought to the human realm. It is not mentioned in Buddhist scriptures, but it does not exist—the Medicine Buddha's origin is from the Eastern Buddhist realm, its most important aspect being healing thought and the soul. The Cleansing Spirit is also a supernatural power of the Eastern Buddhist realm, unseen before, and not found in the Western Buddhist realm. When the Buddha transmitted the Dharma, it would have been much simpler if this had been available—not that the Buddha didn't know, but he hadn't acquired it at the time. It requires the approval of the Medicine Buddha of the East to be transmitted to the human realm, and so far, there is no successor. If the Cleansing Spirit master leaves this world, you will never be able to experience it again. Highly skilled individuals can be reincarnated—the Dharma realm grants three generations of opportunities. The Cleansing Spirit cannot be confined to the innate—if you are born with it, you are born with it; if you are not, you are not.

311. What problem does the Cleansing Spirit primarily solve?

The most important aspects of spirit cleansing are resolving energy, illness, thoughts, and the soul (the real soul—the main soul of the three souls of Heaven, Earth, and Man). It doesn't address the issues of the virtual soul, the hidden soul, or thought. It can resolve emotional problems, but not thought-related problems, nor the damage from past lives—depression cannot be completely erased by trying to remove the damage from past lives; it can only partially mitigate it. It's unclear whether thoughts and memories reside in the hidden soul or the real soul—clearing both is sufficient. The most important aspects of spirit cleansing are resolving energy field, energy connection issues, personal attributes, and the ability to perceive higher dimensions. Even the most powerful prayer and purification methods cannot perceive higher dimensions, but spirit cleansing can.

312. Why do people harbor resentment?

Doing a bad deed and killing someone inevitably produces three things: 1. Heavenly punishment—you must accept that others will kill you in the future. 2. Spiritual retribution—if the spirit becomes a ghost and causes you trouble, it's called a karmic debt; if it's reincarnated as a creditor in the real world, it's called a karmic debt. 3. Resentment attack—hatred clings to you, polluting your mood, temperament, and thoughts. Doing a good deed and saving someone from jumping into a river has the same effect—1. Heavenly reward. 2. Spiritual help and support—if the spirit is alive, it will help you out of gratitude; if it dies, it will help you as a ghost. 3. Joy for all beings—the more yellow light of love and respect you receive.

313. Why do you become dirtier the longer you reincarnate?

In the cycle of reincarnation, one is bound to harm others or oneself—for three reasons: 1. Problems with one's character. One's character may not be complete upon first birth—being too pure and naive makes one vulnerable to being taken advantage of. Impatience, anxiety, suspicion, greed, pride, complaining, attachment to gain and loss, and jealousy—problems with one's character lead to either harming others or oneself. 2. Problems with understanding and ability regarding the world—cognitive issues, ability problems, problems with actions, and interpersonal skills. Even a great Bodhisattva might have a sound character but be incompetent at everything—even ordering takeout can lead to starvation. 3. Coincidentally encountering an unlucky time—the Dharma-ending Age, economic depression, or the Five Barbarian Invasions. As long as one stays in the human realm long enough, the three problems of character, ability, and bad luck inevitably create a large amount of karma or resentment from sentient beings clinging to one's body—for example, someone like me, who has spent 100 lifetimes in the human realm, has very heavy resentment and is becoming increasingly impure.

314. Several states in which resentment is formed

Resentment initially condenses into a gas called resentment energy—it liquefies after gathering to a certain degree—then solidifies to a certain degree (ice or other substances)—then undergoes further transformation—and finally develops sentience. I've spent a long time in the human world and accumulated a lot of resentment—it has solidified, but overall it's still mostly gas. The only person I've ever seen develop sentience was someone whose ancestors for three generations were in the fur trade, killing minks. After their resentment condensed, they developed sentience and would actively attack people—they were extremely difficult to deal with.

315. Connection of Special Dates

Special periods refer to days associated with deities and immortals—the Dragon Raises Its Head on the 2nd of the second lunar month, the Yellow Emperor on the 3rd of the third lunar month, the birthday of Guanyin Bodhisattva on the 19th of the second lunar month, Guanyin's enlightenment on the 19th of the sixth lunar month, Guanyin's renunciation on the 19th of the ninth lunar month, the ascension of Zhenwu Patriarch on the 9th of the ninth lunar month, and the birthday of Medicine Buddha on the 30th of the ninth lunar month. These are all days that connect well with deities and immortals. The Medicine Buddha ceremony will be open at the end of October—through the ceremony, you can connect with the Medicine Buddha and pray for help with your body, mind, and relationships. Every Buddha and every temple can hold this—if all were open, people would think there are too many ceremonies. The current requirements for opening are: first, you must have a feeling; if you participate but don't feel anything, you can't prove its effectiveness. Second, you can participate if you have the money; if you do, just try to get a feel for it. Those who are sick or in poor health can participate in the Medicine Buddha ceremony; others can participate as they wish. It's gradually becoming a general practice—participate if it's useful to you, don't participate if it's not.

316. What exactly is the function of Cleansing Spirit?

1. Directly connect energy that is normally disconnected. 2. Thoroughly cleanse negative energy. 3. Increase energy level. 4. Unblock chakras. 5. Heal illnesses and remove pathogenic energy. 6. Communicate with deities and immortals.

317. Why is it necessary to strictly control the number of people involved in spirit cleansing?

First, resources are scarce—a spirit cleansing master can only handle six people a day, one hour per person. Second, there's a risk of problems—before cleansing, it's necessary to check if the person is prone to hallucinations, and once they are, it's very difficult to bring them back. Long-term mindfulness practice is essential—otherwise, the cleansing will absorb both useful and useless information. Third, the unique and high-quality resources are unparalleled in the entire universe—you must be someone who benefits all beings and serves the Heavenly Way; only by providing sufficient benefit to all beings will you be given the opportunity.

318. Why is the cleansing of spirits on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month beneficial to highly skilled individuals?

The Ninth Day of the Ninth Lunar Month is the day when Heaven records, blesses, and bestows enlightenment upon highly accomplished individuals. Many are remembered and their merits are quickly recognized through this ritual; some receive Heavenly blessings, allowing those who previously could not attain human form to transform into one. During the ritual, the Heavenly Gate opens—the gates for Taoists, immortals, and Buddhas open. Those with the ability rush in to receive recognition and blessings, while those without cannot kneel and worship, receiving blessings of gold dust, flowers, and starlight. Cultivating immortality is arduous; even registering and gaining a name is not easy. It occurs twice a year: the Third Day of the Third Lunar Month and the Ninth Day of the Ninth Lunar Month. Many highly accomplished individuals may achieve perfect merit and ascend to the ranks of immortals in this lifetime. Heaven is indeed fair, but different positions are treated differently—don't foolishly believe that cultivating the Heavenly Way only requires Heavenly blessings; no one will report you or pull strings to make Heaven notice you quickly.

319. What is the story behind the wordless book?

When you encounter words during the cleansing of spirits, you should try your best to memorize them. During my cleansing, I saw the ritual site—I recognized every word in the scriptures, but I couldn't remember or read them. For example, I recognized all the words in "Shizhongxian" (Immortal in the World), but I couldn't read them or memorize them. This is a celestial book—you can see it, but you can't memorize it, read it, or learn it. You can only learn it when the time is right. The celestial book has no words because it originally had no words—you see it directly in the image. If you can remember it, you can remember it; if you are not allowed to remember it, seeing it is useless.
