First, it's a rigorous selection process—the kind of people Heaven desires. Second, the human realm is the middle of the six realms, representing the final level of human consciousness, spiritual insight, enlightenment, and cultivation—a place where many can be converted, merit is easily earned, and the cost-effectiveness is high. Third, it allows for rapid karmic connections with other beings—a few decades pass quickly. Fourth, the density of beings is high, many stories unfold, and many karmic connections are formed. Fifth, abilities are confined to the physical body—making it impossible to cause widespread collapse of life. Sixth, it's a supreme sacred ground for tempering one's character—the human realm is where the most intense battles of wits take place; those who master human cunning will surely live a very enlightened life in other dimensions.
357. Can the human realm develop indefinitely?
Impossible. No matter how technology advances, it will eventually reach its end—because of human nature. You can tell if someone can achieve great things and last long by observing their temperament, words, and actions. Impatience may lead to occasional success, but it won't last; suspicion, even with the best mentor, will ultimately lead to self-destruction; a strong attachment to gain and loss will prevent a happy marriage. It's difficult to survive the first three episodes of a palace drama—the character hurdle is insurmountable. Modern civilization doesn't teach this. It's difficult to sustain a business or enterprise indefinitely—even with the right opportunity and ability, the character hurdle remains.
358. Why must the human realm inevitably face destruction?
Human nature is prone to suspicion, greed, and anger—whoever holds power will gradually face destruction. With the development of AI and technology, there will be a level capable of wiping out all of humanity—but the overall human mentality hasn't reached that point. When a few individuals can control resources, they will distrust each other—it's hard to say who will strike first. All development in the human world has its limits; once those limits are exceeded, it will essentially lead to self-destruction. Those in power see the human world fighting, arguing, killing, and experimenting—the deaths of tens or hundreds of millions are not a big deal. All technologies invented by humanity that could destroy all of humanity are unlikely to last 100 years—they will likely erupt within 100 years. Giving high technology is equivalent to giving power to humanity. Isolationism is inherently a place for cultivating character—if you can last ten thousand years, why not make it a thousand? To the gods above, it's originally an experimental field—why let these people finish their experiments so early? Later, they couldn't stop them, so they just went for it.

It's absurd to force two individuals, of different sexes, with no blood relation to live together for decades through marriage and procreation. Why can't they marry within the same family? Because two families with no blood relation have different living environments, philosophies, and perceptions—forced merging is done to create a false sense of harmony. The reason marriage arises is to utilize each other's strengths and compensate for each other's weaknesses. Anyone who cannot pass the test of marriage is deemed unqualified in the real world.
Is it okay not to get married? No—you'll still have to get married in the next life, and the difficulty of giving up marriage in the next life will be exponentially increased. If you're already married but don't like someone and kill them out of hatred—you'll most likely marry them again in the next life. If you don't get through this hurdle, you'll keep going, and next time you'll have to carry over all the karmic consequences of this one. Don't try to escape from the entire cycle of reincarnation.
362. Why is it necessary to establish biodiversity?
Karmic Retribution—The calamities and blessings that sentient beings suffer correspond to their rebirths. Human society must be stratified—there are higher and lower beings, all in human form but performing different tasks, in order to create a cycle. The higher one goes, for example, the more powerful beings can survive for months without food, drawing energy from heaven and earth—the sense of social interdependence decreases. The lower one goes, the more interdependent the conditions for existence become—we are weak enough that we need to be stratified and diverse to bear these things.
363. Why must all human spiritual practices adhere to precepts?
To harness the power of the Heavenly Dao, the more one contacts the higher realms, the more one desires to harness its power—this requires extreme purity and cleanliness. The human realm is too polluted—this requires severance and isolation. The most important aspect of all precepts is severance and isolation, making you as unrecognizable as a human being as possible. The Bodhisattva realm is terrifying—speaking, breathing, eating, and all manner of behavior are strictly defined. It's the same in places of purification and blessing—if you eat leek dumplings there, you'll be kicked out by a master, and everything you set out will be rendered useless. Large-scale sacrifices must create a completely pure space—if you don't bathe, you'll be polluted. The bodies of virgin boys and girls are of pure Yin and Yang—anyone with knowledge of men and women, or who has made friends or married, must never touch them for life. The cleaner and more transparent one is, the further one is from the human realm, the closer one is to the Heavenly Dao—but the cleaner one is, the less able one is to guide the lower realms. The entire Heavenly Dao has almost no complete control over the management and control of the lower realms. Those who can use the Heavenly Dao must stay away from the human realm—being too human with too many thoughts and desires makes it impossible to communicate with the higher realms. To cultivate upwards, one must go to deep mountains and forests to isolate oneself from the mortal world—the better the isolation, the more one can harness the power of the Heavenly Dao, but the less able one is to contact the human realm. The Heavenly Dao has pondered this problem for countless eons without finding a solution—a deadlock. Therefore, powerful beings must sever their avatars—cutting away the impurities to achieve complete purity and approach the Heavenly Dao.
