1. Why can it only be storytelling?
Whether in the human realm or the Dharma realm, you are not qualified to transmit the Dharma; you can only tell stories. Throughout countless lifetimes of reincarnation, if you transmit the Dharma and then say something wrong, including if someone misunderstands what you say, the karmic consequences will fall on you. Beings in the Buddha realm are generally "clever" and call it storytelling. You are telling stories, not transmitting the Dharma. Those who understand will understand, and those who don't won't. As long as it's storytelling, it's not transmitting the Dharma; as long as it's not transmitting the Dharma, you won't bear the karmic consequences. We hope that all students, when communicating with others, will not say they are transmitting the Dharma—whether in the human realm or the Dharma realm, there is no transmitting the Dharma. The Tathagata did not transmit the Dharma—"There is no Dharma to transmit, therefore it is transmitting the Dharma." It's just a story, told to those with affinity. Those who understand will understand, and those who don't will never understand. You can believe in things you can't touch or see because you've heard them before in countless lifetimes of reincarnation. What I'm saying today isn't something you've heard for the first time; it's all due to affinity. Those with affinity who hear these things will believe. Fate is very important; all our future spiritual practice systems will be built upon the cultivation of fate.
2. The Healer of All Beings
Much of what I say isn't necessarily truth or absolute reality, but rather things I've observed and continuously refined through numerous case studies, and they're generally effective in the human realm. In another human realm, the underlying rules are different. My current clientele and audience are built up because my methods are immediately effective. If someone asks me if what I say is true or false, I can only say: I will share what I've seen, what I frequently use, and what I find effective with you. The most important thing in the world is: if it's useful to all beings, it's a rule. Just like the Buddhist scriptures say, "The one who preaches the Dharma has no Dharma to preach; this is called preaching the Dharma." We're not cultivating an audience; I hope to cultivate healers for all beings through interesting anecdotes. You must be able to discern truth from falsehood yourself—many things you hear from the Buddhist scriptures or from me, if they don't work for you, are false. All true things must be a rule, and there are two fundamental phenomena: first, it must be effective and useful to you over a long period; second, this rule, this method, this application must be effective and work well for other beings as well. Next time someone asks you whether what you said is right or wrong, you must make your own judgment—that's called enlightenment. All the things in Buddhist scriptures, Taoist teachings, and even many of the stories I've told you, can only be integrated into the cycle of reincarnation and your own soul, becoming a very important part of your reincarnation, through your own enlightenment.
3. Why can't the lower plane be completely purified?
The rule of the entire cycle is: the lower planes are fixed, and wherever something is missing, it is filled by something else that will emerge from that location to fill the gap—this is called filling the gaps in the lower planes. The higher planes are sparse; you can easily elevate things from the lower planes to the higher planes because the space in the higher planes is infinitely vast. The cycle is a triangle; the higher the plane, the more expansive the space and the more resources there are, so filling something from the bottom to the top is not a problem. But adding or removing anything from the lower planes is not an option; the spatial structure is unstable. The lower planes can never be completely purified. The vow made by Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, "I will not become a Buddha until hell is empty," is basically impossible to fulfill. Even if he purifies a certain area of hell to the Buddha realm, that area will automatically be filled.
4. Why Animals from Food Markets Should Not Be Casually Released
If the animals in the market are artificially raised, it's advisable not to rescue them. However, wild animals should be rescued if necessary. They are deliberately placed in the cycle of reincarnation in the underworld to be punished and have their karma purified. Rescuing them may not be a good thing. For example, a pig might be reborn as a pig for three lifetimes after committing a mistake. Each lifetime might last two years, so three lifetimes would be completed in six years, after which the pig could be reborn as a human. If you accidentally release it, the time to be reborn as a human might be much longer, and you might miss many karmic opportunities. Some people buy fish and release them. Normally, fish reincarnate once a year, but if they are released, they might survive for decades, which causes significant problems.
5. Humans Eliminating Humans
We are currently in the Dharma-ending Age, and the entire human world is eliminating humanity. If you were a capitalist, would you prefer 100,000 intelligent robots or 100,000 people to work? Humans are concerned with emotions, rest, wages, raises, unions, worries, and family. Robots, especially intelligent robots, don't have these needs. Automation is eliminating blue-collar workers, and AI is eliminating white-collar workers. Finding a job will be very difficult in the future. Only by having a clearer understanding can we live well in this world. I suggest everyone work in the service industry, because it is currently difficult for high technology or machines to replace it. If you are a manual laborer or an intellectual laborer—writing articles, painting, making videos, etc.—you will likely have few opportunities in the future. Many parents say, "Looking down means a sea of problems, looking up means the future," which probably indicates that their children have no future. When perception is flawed, no matter how hard you try, more problems will arise.
6. Why Undertake Spiritual Practice?
Spiritual practice is about recognizing your mistakes. You need to know where you went wrong. How can you practice if you don't even know where you went wrong? Continuously improve yourself, benefit countless beings, increase your merit and blessings, and understand all the rules, nature, and principles of the six paths and ten realms. Only then can you truly love this world and all of this. Your success comes at a great cost to all beings. Only by knowing the truth can you cherish it, live with clarity, and never regress. It may seem like I'm saving beings, but in reality, beings are saving me. The important thing is to be qualified enough to participate in this test of heaven and earth, truly knowing where the test points are, where the rules are, and where to focus your efforts. I hope everyone with affinity can work together to liberate more beings and help more fellow practitioners become healers of all beings. Only after you have true and sufficient enlightenment can you truly understand the immense effort and sacrifice beings have made for us, and understand who is truly healing whom.
