191. Why should an assistant follow you around?

First, by following you, people can learn, change, and improve—your own level needs to be impressive, proven over time. Second, you're using others to solve problems, so you need to provide tools. The richness, effectiveness, and usability of these tools determine how many assistants you can attract. Assistants solve other people's problems—this is about getting a wide range of friends and those in need to solve problems. If assistants can't solve other people's problems, if their theories, abilities, and tools can't help others solve life's challenges, how can they survive? Two things: First, enrich the product line, making the tools better and more effective, ideally with immediate results. Second, cultivate enough assistants—patiently nurture them, truly treating them like students or children. Don't just talk; don't deny them opportunities to practice, accompany them, or ask questions; sometimes you have to guide them step-by-step. The more people willing to learn from you, the more assistants you have, the more problems you solve for all, and the greater your merit will be.

192. Buddha's Eye

The Buddha Eye is the highest level of the Five Eyes in Buddhism, representing the ability to increase wisdom and perceive everything. It not only allows one to see surface phenomena but also to perceive essence and causal relationships, becoming omniscient, dispelling all ignorance and afflictions, and achieving true wisdom and liberation. This wisdom is not limited by time or space, illuminating the entire world indiscriminately, dispelling all darkness and delusion. As stated in *Game of Thrones*, "Some people can see the essence of things in a second, while others never understand it in a lifetime." Why should you compete with others to make money? Why should you want to be rich? You need eyes that can see everything, the ability to perceive the essence of everything, to discover many problems, and to break free from the rules, traps, patterns, and habits designed by others—this is the most basic principle. Without this, it's difficult to surpass others, and you'll remain stably poor. What is the feeling of cultivating the Buddha Eye? My Buddha Eye isn't about what I can see, but about being able to quickly see the essence clearly. The process begins with cultivating a clear and insightful mind, gradually increasing to a seven-colored, exquisite mind, and then to the Buddha's eye—gradually seeing through the essence of matter, quickly penetrating many things, not being misled, and swiftly finding the root of problems. Many people find it easy to achieve mental clarity, but your heart cannot be too entangled with this world. Having many greedy desires will make it very difficult to cultivate the Buddha's eye; even if you do, it will gradually close—your heart will definitely encounter problems.

193. Learn not to seek certain things

If you achieve all the success factors for something, then stop thinking about the thing itself—the thing will definitely succeed, but not thinking about success doesn't mean success won't come. If you're pursuing a girlfriend, being good to her, rich, handsome, loyal, and not making her dislike you, but never saying "I want to marry you," wouldn't this girl want to marry you? Many guys like a girl and keep pursuing her, but do they possess the qualities that make her want to marry them? Lacking empathy, money, material foundation, unstable job, lacking understanding, and unable to take care of someone—and yet expecting this girl to marry you, what are you thinking? If you do everything in detail that constitutes this thing, it will definitely follow. For example, if you don't seek money, but make sure all directions and points for making money are done well, won't money come to you? Learn to do every point well, and this thing will definitely succeed, instead of seeking the thing itself. Many people are superficial—wanting to make money, but do they possess the qualities to make money? Do they possess the skills to make money? Wanting to pursue a beautiful woman, do they possess the skills to pursue her or for her to marry them? If they don't possess any of these, what makes them think they can pursue her? Because they want to? Many people are always daydreaming.

194. High-quality resources

Does being good at studying count as a high-quality resource? Yes. Having a mine at home, owning an island, owning a country, being beautiful, intelligent, clever, and having good connections—these are all high-quality resources. Regardless of family background, in the cycle of reincarnation, to gain wealth, cultivation techniques, advancement, and everything else—one must possess more high-quality resources. My high-quality resources: powerful Dharma masters, many immortals, and the ability to contact high-ranking figures to allocate resources from the Buddhist realm. Are the resources that Bodhisattvas can allocate on the same level as the resources you can allocate? Someone else is very efficient at doing something, while you are very inefficient—someone else is using a tractor to plow the field, while you are using a hoe.

195. Unique and High-Quality Resources

If your high-quality resources aren't unique, you'll have to compete with others, leading to internal friction, which is very difficult and makes you easily imitated, surpassed, and replaced. Many wealthy people and trendsetters couldn't even last 10 years—times change. Zhongguancun lasted 20 years, while server hosting companies were eliminated after 5. Choosing high-quality resources but lacking uniqueness only leads to temporary wealth. When young women choose a husband, the first thing they check is—how long can your husband's business last? Don't think that marriage guarantees lifelong wealth; it's very likely that it will end in three to five years. You must learn to marry well and learn to choose wisely—don't be fooled by someone buying you a bag. Current happiness may only last three to five years. How many internet celebrities have disappeared within five years? You can calculate it yourself.

196. Unique, high-quality, and long-lasting sect resources

Why am I so determined to engage in feudal superstition? In ancient times, this industry was considered lowly, not high-class. But from a resource perspective—is it a high-quality resource? Yes. Is it unique? Yes. I'm hard to surpass, I may not be able to achieve great success, I'm just a poor person, I'm content with earning a little money. Although I can't make a fortune, I've worked hard in this direction, developed my own advantages, and can maintain that advantage. Ancient merchants also had low social status, but why were so many willing to go into business? The resources were excellent, and it could achieve many life goals—farmers have a higher social status than merchants, but it's useless. Now, when thinking about problems and industries, don't rely on others' definitions; analyze what it truly is from a resource perspective—a high-quality resource, a unique resource? Add one more thing to high-quality and unique resources—is it sustainable? If your high-quality, unique resource can last a long time, that's a very good resource, especially if the repurchase rate is high, it's very powerful. My resource has a high repurchase rate; once people recognize me, they'll keep buying things from me and asking questions—isn't that a sustainable resource? No matter how advanced technology becomes, it can't solve the problems of predicting the future, changing destiny, or adjusting thoughts. So I don't need to be afraid or worried.

197. Over-medicalization

If you're a doctor working for someone else—some students who want to become doctors have been officially notified that they must meet monthly performance targets, and those who fail to do so for three consecutive months will be laid off. Most hospitals now have performance targets, and widespread over-treatment is inevitable in the future. If your child is over-treated, immediately go to the best private hospital in your area—it won't cost much. In Guangzhou, a student's child had a cold and fever that lasted for three weeks without improvement. They went to three top-tier hospitals and were prescribed six or seven different medications, but there were no beds available for hospitalization. They were told to go to the well-known private hospital, United Family Healthcare. Top-tier private hospitals don't have medical targets or performance targets, and they dare not give doctors targets. The treatment cost 1200 yuan, but how much did the medication cost? 100 yuan. The doctor directly said that none of the six or seven medications would cure your daughter's illness; they were all prescribed incorrectly. Spend 100 yuan on medication, and she'll be fine immediately without hospitalization. She recovered after three days—don't delay your child's treatment.

198. First and Second Principles

Jack Welch, the former CEO of GE, had a very important principle—the first and second principle. If you can't be number one or two in a particular area or industry, all your efforts are in vain. In education, if you can't surpass more than 95% of students, it's almost meaningless. Striving to surpass 80% of the population—that's fine in prosperous times, when the economy is booming and there's high demand. Now, the demand isn't that high; people are weeding each other out. If you can't surpass 95%, then your education is largely meaningless. Don't follow the crowd; understand the world from a resource perspective. I'm the same—if I can't surpass 90%, my cost-effectiveness, fortune-telling skills, and overall cost-effectiveness must surpass more than 90% of people to have a chance of success online. Many people can't name the world's second highest peak, Mount Everest. The champion is Quan Hongchan, but who knows who the runner-up is? Does the runner-up put in much less effort than the champion? No, but the rewards are different. If you can't be number one in a certain direction, most of your effort is just background—the green leaves next to the flowers. Change your surroundings—in the desert you're a blade of grass, attracting everyone's attention; but if you become a blade of grass in a flowerbed, who will notice you? People will definitely be looking at the flowers.

199. Strong interpersonal relationships

If you are ordinary in every way—no family background, unattractive appearance, lack of ability—you must cultivate strong interpersonal skills. With strong interpersonal skills, you can access many resources. Interpersonal relationships are the only way for ordinary humans to reach the heavens. Schools don't teach this at all, which is ridiculous. Why do you need to learn interpersonal skills? The Way of Heaven is flawed; harmony brings perfection. The first generation of creator gods and beings were perfect, but the more perfect they were, the more flawed they became—perfect in every aspect, they didn't need external resources, cooperation, or the benefit of all beings. Their power was unrelated to all beings; what use was the Way of Heaven for them? The more perfect they were, the more flawed they became. All beings recreated by the Way of Heaven afterward are flawed—you can't be strong in every aspect. Even if you cultivate for countless years until you're completely exhausted, it's useless. Because the Way of Heaven is flawed when it recreates. Because you have flaws, you need the cooperation of others. To achieve greater things, you must have more people cooperating with you, more beings cooperating with you. Only when they cooperate together is it called harmony brings perfection—this is what the second generation of the Way of Heaven requires of its beings.

200. Allocating other people's resources

Every being thinks they are amazing and capable. What makes you think you can command them? This requires faith, effort, and sincerity. Because of sincerity and a pure heart, people trust me. Initially, you have to test them. After testing for a long time and finding no problems, faith develops—communication costs are almost zero, and there's no need for defense. My assistants have been with me for 5 or 6 years; everyone has experienced this. Everyone who mentors assistants or students has gone through this—first, you have to be humbled and observe what you say. Second, it's low-cost validation, testing whether you can actually do it. Third, it's trying to follow. Fourth, confirming following—this takes several years. Being a good person, doing good work, speaking and acting well, ultimately leads to faith. Once faith is established, communication costs are almost zero—they don't need to know why I said those words; if they believe me, they're willing to do it. Some things involve secrets that can't be revealed, but they're certain I'm doing it for their own good—that's enough. Once faith is lost, there's testing and doubt, and many problems arise.

201. Ways to Obtain High-Quality Resources

There are three ways to acquire high-quality resources: strong abilities, abundant resources, and strong interpersonal relationships. These three methods can be used to acquire high-quality resources. In the Dharma Realm, I'm not good at anything, but my greatest advantage is my ability to balance the emotions of all the immortals, get along well with them, and utilize their abilities and strengths for my own benefit. Finally, I integrate everything so that everyone can happily work together on a great cause—that's my ability. Has anyone in history been like this? Liu Bei was incompetent at everything, but with the help of Guan Yu and Zhuge Liang, he was able to divide the world into three kingdoms. Liu Bang was bad at fighting and lacked strategic acumen, but he could unite capable people, people stronger than himself—this is called "the greatest use lies in the seemingly useless." When you are seemingly incompetent, you can be omnipotent—strong interpersonal relationships are very powerful.

202. The Trap of Developing in Big Cities

Generally, people choose to develop their careers in big cities—a mindset rooted in industrial civilization: more companies, more opportunities, more money. But do companies need you or your skills? Think this through beforehand. Big cities offer high salaries, but the cost of living far exceeds those salaries. This is already the case in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. In Hong Kong—graduates from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Hong Kong typically earn around HK$30,000 a month, but a bottle of Coke costs over ten dollars. These cities have been exploited; assets have been transferred, leaving behind only a high cost of living. Still clinging to the dream of more opportunities to realize your future in such cities—this is almost certainly impossible. This is the trap of developing in big cities. Assess your skills, abilities, and valuable resources. Without these, no one will hire you; they'll only extract your surplus value. If you truly have talent, people will seek you out everywhere.

203. Altruism for Oneself

The entire world, all of humanity, including China as a whole, has encountered a major problem in its educational mindset—the vast majority are self-serving. When you are poor, the more self-serving you are, the less capable you are of others in terms of thinking, ability, adaptability, and resources. You need to allocate other people's resources to your own advantage to strengthen yourself. At this point, if you still have a self-serving mindset—the more you calculate, the more you fail. Being a good person is very simple—for example, in domestic service, the better you do, the more considerate you are of your employer, the less lazy you are, the better you do your job, and the more reasonable the price, the more willing your employer will be to hire you. The more you think, "This is all I can do," or try to cheat and shirk responsibility, won't others see that? You must adopt a mindset that prioritizes others—altruism for your own benefit. The more you help others, the more you take their problems seriously, the more they will give you something in return—provided that the person you hire is a normal person. The more you benefit others, the more willing they are to work with you; the more valuable you are to others, the more they will take care of you, and ultimately, you will prosper.
