588. Rules
Rule: Valid for a long period, successful multiple times, and useful to all different groups. Cultivate the rules of Heaven, cultivate the rules of the gods in higher planes. Reverence for the rules and obedience to the rules. Everything revolves around the rules of Heaven—the First Law.
589. Seven Main Indicators for Heaven's Cultivation of Humans
Goodness, energy (immunity to negative energy), the ability to help all beings, the ability to liberate all beings, the balance and integration of Yin and Yang (in the end, there is no Yin and Yang after the integration), means of survival, becoming a wise life.
590. Yin and Yang Fusion
Confrontation – Balance – Integration (Unification). Entering any interface will result in a conflict between high-dimensional rules and low-dimensional rules – protecting one's own safety while benefiting a large number of sentient beings.
591. How to become a wise life
Cognition transcends this plane—human beings with the mindset of the Heavenly Way can let go of many things. Breaking out of the circle requires external wisdom (wisdom and energy from outside the circle). The overall practice: living well within the circle solves various problems; obtaining wisdom and energy from outside the circle allows one to break out of it. Cultivating both blessings and wisdom—wisdom is intelligence, blessings are merit.
592. Why does benefiting (converting) sentient beings bring heavenly rewards?
The Laws of the Good Path Space—pervading the entire universe, including beyond reincarnation. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas continue their efforts to liberate and benefit sentient beings, receiving rewards from the heavens. Two inferences: 1. Spatial regulations. 2. All beings share the same origin, coming from a common ancestor or mother—the entire reincarnation system was created to reward those who help find their lost children. Compassion requires limitless giving, tolerance, forbearance, and love—the heavens greatly reward those who selflessly help other life forms.
593. Law of Self-Similarity
All spatial laws may have different shapes, but their roots are the same. Observing the things around us is very helpful in understanding the Way of Heaven—each snowflake has six petals, which are further subdivided into prismatic crystals. Why do humans and celestial beings behave this way? —They must also be replicated according to human appearance. Governing a large country is like cooking a small fish. Returning to the sea—studying the water cycle to understand the entire cycle system of the Way of Heaven and all living beings, as well as the system of cause and effect.
594. On "Emptiness and Form" in the Context of Water
What shape is water? Any shape we see is constrained by containers, rules, and perspectives—it is all a manifestation of emptiness. Water is formless, therefore it can have all shapes—depending on the space, perspective, and factors that constrain it. The world has colors and forms all due to conditions and causes. Without cause and effect, there is no color.
595. Mirror Law and Delay Law
Benefiting all beings will surely bring back good fortune to you—the Law of Mirroring. There is no immediate reflection—the Law of Delay. The more good deeds you continuously do, the more good things will return to you in the end. There is a Law of Delay—it may return in this life, ten lifetimes later, or even 100 lifetimes later. Since we know this law exists, we should do a lot of good deeds, righteous deeds, and things that are good for others. The reason for the Law of Delay: Karmic debts haven't been fully repaid. Lower realms weaken good intentions, righteous actions, and righteous thoughts—who wouldn't do good deeds for immediate reward? Who would do evil deeds for immediate retribution? The Law of Delay. The lower the realm, the weaker the good intentions—there is no positive feedback system. Under the Law of Mirroring, what is most needed is to correct righteous thoughts and actions, cultivate a righteous spirit, and maintain a bright inner self.
